ABOUT US

Through many years of teaching and working with real-life projects, as well as supporting many StartUp projects of young people. We have realized that whether you are a programmer, or a  computer scientist, knowing Algorithms gives you a very huge advantage. Many big tech companies in the world today (such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc) when interviewing internship candidates or full-time employees, they all have a lot of rounds for testing algorithmic knowledge.

In Vietnam, many big companies are also trying to build their own algorithm making teams such as: Tiki, VNG, FPT, etc. They are investing in research and starting to recruit staff to work on algorithms since they understand that Algorithms are the heart of Information Technology. However, learning Algorithms is not a simple thing. Being proficient and good at Algorithms is not an overnight thing. It is for these reasons that we have launched the project “Big-O Coding“, with the hope that Algorithms will no longer be a difficulty for many students and programmers. We are looking forward to accompanying and supporting you.

In the past 2019 and 2020, we have guided many students to work full-time abroad: 1 student works at Amazon (USA), 2 students work at Google (USA), 3 students working at Facebook (USA), 1 student working at Two Sigma (USA), 2 students working at Garena (Singapore). And many Vietnamese students are interviewed for internships at Google, Facebook, Microsoft, BlackBerry and other leading technology companies.

Mr. PHAM NGUYEN SON TUNG

With many years of experience working in the field of Algorithms, he is the main teacher at Big-O Coding courses.

  • 5 years Head Coach of HCMUS ACM-ICPC team.
  • Twice as the coach representing Vietnam to attend the world final round of the ACM-ICPC International Programming Contest 2014 (Ekaterinburg) and 2016 (Phuket).
  • Over 40 Programming Contest Asia Regionals Awards.
  • Training HCMUS Robotics team to enter the world final of World RobotOlympiad 2015.
  • Second Prize of Vietnamese Talent 2015.
  • Author of 2 scientific research papers on Algorithms at the 2010 and 2014 international conferences.
